Did you wake up with a positive attitude this morning? Did you stop to thank your family for being loving and kind to each other this past weekend?
OK, OK, so maybe there is not much this morning to be thankfull for, some mornings start like that. But you are alive and kicking right? So why not go out in the world today and decide to make a positive change from now on. Depression is the problem with most of us, we don’t realize how negative we have become and yet after thinking about your last 24 hours, there is probably something that is holding you back. Wake up, smile at the beautiful sun light and feel the warmth and glow of the sun’s heat before it becomes to hot to feel comfortable later in the day.
Eat something if you can, the energy you receive is important to getting your day going with a “let’s go do something today” action plan. Make a new friend today. You will smile to yourself later when you consider how a little glow from your friendly manner will cause another to smile and improve their day. All it takes is a smile and your love of life to brighten the day…

Many of us have an over sensitive nature of the future. And then there are others that always want to believe that negative things will occur. The truth is the world is a complex place full of people that wish to see a outcome based on their beliefs. Religions vary, people forecast, and politics take positions. Most of the time they are wrong. The earth has been here for a very long time, the planets continue to move in relation to the powers that surround them. Here on earth we have gravity as the simplest form of invisible power. Drop an apple from a tree and see. The point is simple, people wish to see a change, a difference in their lifetime of many things. Yet, America is strong because it is a mixture of many nations, and our freedom is unparalleled by most other countries. Man wants to have what another man has, that is clear. But if you think that America is in trouble you miss understand the nature of the American people. We will overcome our short term financial situation and become stronger as a result. Because we have the ability to chose to do so.
Those that want to believe that America is weak or in grave trouble are wrong. We are strong because of our history of overcoming and reacting to difficulty we face. In fact we do our best in the worst of times. And like in the movie the Postman, “things are getting better every day”. So I have a sense of urgency that is usually stronger than most around me, and that is a good thing because I know we will be fine. I am a visionary my friends and that is the easy part, the hard part is getting you to pay attention. So smile, be friends with your fellow man, and spread the Aloha.

Hawaiian pidgin “Howsit?” to you all. Of course if you are a Hawaiian, you would shorten it to Ho Bu? Smile today, for it is a beautiful day and the Flowers and Plants don’t know about the financial problems that most of us are suffering from. Look at the beauty around you, hug your dog, pet your kitten. And love your neighbor by showing your aloha. Because a smile goes a long way, and helping others even if it is just to say Howsit? will get you a smile in return.

As you enjoy this New Year and set your goals and objectives for this next year, lose weight, exercise, be good to your family and others, learn new skills, find a better job, be sure to not forget to practice Aloha. You will find that those around you recognize your effort to get along better with them.
I recommend that we all work towards positive thoughts and goals. Reach further than you have ever dreamed possible, (the only real boundary is you) and keep that positive attitude regardless of the difficulties along your road.
The ability to lead others is important since so many of us are under employed, some of us reached that golden age of 65 and are just not ready to accept that we must retire. I joke that I am a 54 year old man in a 65 year old body… I am still ready and willing to blast across the ocean at extreme speeds, fish for the big one, and most of all, to demonstrate how easy it is to research anything via the Entrepreneur Incubator Workstation (your PC or MAC). In fact I love researching a way out of situations we find ourselves in. How to turn around a company by reinstating the “Fire in the Belly”, by clearly showing that we are all in the same boat, and it can stay afloat in these difficult times of our weak economy caused by the greed of so very few.
Happy New Year!
